Comprising Jack Bruce on bass, harmonica, piano and vocals, Ginger Baker on drums and percussion, and Eric Clapton on guitar and vocals, it only existed for an approximate two year period between July 1966 and April 1968, though achieved much during that time. It recorded four LPs: Fresh Cream (1966), Disraeli Gears (1967), Wheels of Fire (1968) and Goodbye Cream (1969) along with various singles and compilations. In between there were live gigs, interviews on radio, TV and for the print media, and occasional appearances on TV and in film.
